  • Learning outcomes: This webinar will present information on the cultural aspects of working with Spanish speaking users and specific sites to visit for information and resources. Based on her experience at Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, where all patrons speak Spanish, Ms. Canfield will cover concepts such as differences in time and space perception, the importance of family and religion to Spanish speakers, and tips to make the reference interview a more useful instrument. Specific websites and Government publications which provide information on cultural diversity will also be included.
