YALSA’s new mentoring program now accepting applications

Here’s an opportunity to be paired up with a mentor: ALA’s Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) offers a new mentoring program which will pair an experienced librarian with a new librarian or graduate student in a Library Science program. YALSA believes that we all have important skills and knowledge that we can share with one another and so this program encourages protégés to share their skills and know-how with their mentor. Applications to participate in the program will open on April 5, 2010 and be accepted through June 30, 2010. Questions about the program? Please visit their website or contact Eve Gaus at egaus@ala.org or 1-800-545-2433 ext. 5293.
