The Joy of Computing Cookbooks
The MaintainIt Project has just released the second FREE Joy of Computing Cookbook: Recipes for a 5-Star Library.
In this Cookbook you will find practical tips and stories from public librarians across the country about wireless, print and time management, and laptop checkout programs.
You can download the entire Cookbook, or just the individual chapters you need. The first Cookbook, A Cookbook for Small and Rural Libraries, is also available.
Looking for more help and advice? Check out the MaintainIt forum on Web Junction and discuss your public computer challenges with your colleagues.
The MaintainIT Project is a three-year project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The Project works with public libraries to identify, and share, best practices of technical support for public computers.
