PowerPoint + YouTube = SlideShare
Have you attended a Library Commission event, but didn’t get a copy of the PowerPoint presentation that you saw?
Would you like to share PowerPoint presentations that you have created with your colleagues?
Are you looking for some inspiration for your next presentation?
Then check out SlideShare. SlideShare is a free, online service for sharing presentations and slideshows.
The Library Commission has started posting PowerPoint presentations from online sessions, meetings and workshops to our own SlideShare account.
SlideShare allows us to upload our PowerPoint presentations to a central location from which you can then link to our presentations. Although this can be done by uploading them to our own server (which we also do for archiving purposes), with SlideShare you can also view our presentations on the site, embed them into your sites, leave comments, and subscribe to our presentations. SlideShare also supports tagging and contacts within the system.
Think of it as a YouTube or Flickr for PowerPoint.
Have you found an interesting presentation on SlideShare? Tell us about it in the Comments!
