Nebraska Memories Gets Plugged on Flickr

We are happy to report that the Nebraska Memories web site got plugged on Flickr earlier this week—and we didn’t even have to do it! It was highlighted by Flickr member Waiting Line, who is active in a number of Nebraska-themed Flickr groups. See her post about Nebraska Memories here. Waiting Line doesn’t mention how she stumbled on the Nebraska Memories web site so we can’t claim it is a direct result of NLC’s presence on Flickr. Nevertheless, this is a good example of how social networking sites can serve as great publicity tools for libraries and library projects!
