Description: Genealogists, historians and other folk interested in finding people who served in the Nebraska Territorial, Bicameral and Unicameral legislatures since 1857 have a new resource.
Nebraska Legislators, Past and Present was launched in January and is accessible via the Library Commission’s NebraskAccess website. Join Library Commission staff Allana Novotny, Beth Goble and Mary Sauers for a tour of the new database, background on the three Legislatures, and tips for searching. Links to more resources on the Nebraska Legislature website and to biographies from the Nebraska Blue Book spanning 1901 to the present will also be explored.
