Walter Dean Myers is the new National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature
Walter Dean Myers was sworn in on Monday, January 10, for his two-year appointment as the country’s next National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature. He was interviewed Monday on National Public Radio and said his theme will be: Reading is Not Optional.
