Calculate Your Library’s Value
How much would your patrons have to pay out-of-pocket for the library services you provide?
The Library Use Value Calculator will show your patrons how much money they save by using the free services at your library.
Your patrons enter the number of times they have used your library’s services, such as: the number of items they’ve borrowed, the programs they’ve attended, the amount of time they’ve spent on the computers, the number of reference questions they’ve asked, etc. The estimated retail value of each service is calculated, and then it’s all added up to show them the total value of their library use.
Follow the customization and installation instructions provided by the Maine State Library to add this online calculator to your library’s website.
What a great tool to show your patrons how the library is saving them money!
