NLC in Second Life
As of this morning the Nebraska Library Commission has an official presence in the online virtual world of Second Life. At this time our building is admittedly empty but in the next few weeks we’ll be happily furnishing and decorating. In the future we hope to offer exhibits and offer presentations along with contributing to the other services offered on Info Island. So, log in and come visit us, we’re located in Cybrary City at 232,216,24.

Yay! Congrats. 🙂
How bout instead of 2nd life, we call it GET-A-LIFE.
I can’t believe people are spending valuable amounts of time in a self created virtual world when life — real life — is going on all about them.
Just like I’ve never seen a headstone that says, “I wish I would have spent more time at the office,” I doubt I’ll ever see one that says, ” I wish I would have spent more time in 2nd Life”.
