NCompass Live: Library Challenge: The Amazing Library Race
Join us for next week’s NCompass Live, “Library Challenge: The Amazing Library Race”, on Wednesday, July 29, 10:00-11:00 am Central Time.
The Kearney (NE) Public Schools’ Elementary Librarian team developed the Library Challenge
, which is used by all the Elementary Schools in the District. Stop students’ eyes from glazing over with this innovative Library Challenge
. Students work in teams to answer research questions faster than their classmates’ teams. Learn how hands-on challenges motivate students to find answers using all the tools available in the library. Children learn by doing to integrate skills into their own lives. Learning isn’t always quiet!
Presenters: Connie Jelkin and Kelly Melson, Kearney (NE) Public Schools.
