Happy Juneteenth readers! Explore all the African American stories available on Nebraska OverDrive Libraries, like “Something to Say” by Lisa Moore Ramée (‎HarperCollins, 2020). Recommended for kids in grades 3-7, this chapter book explores the complex social rules of middle school, overcoming fears, and finding friendship. At eleven years old Jenae doesn’t mind being a loner, but a new kid at school might just change all that, unless they let a class debate ruin it all.
