NCompass Live: Tween & Teen BUILD Collective

Join us for the next NCompass Live, ‘Tween & Teen BUILD Collective’, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 10:00am – 11:00am CT. Come learn about the La Vista Public Library’s BUILD Collective. The goal of the BUILD (“Building to Uphold Imagination and Learning Daily”) Collective is to provide tweens and teens with educational “toys”, based around the common theme of building, that will foster their sense of imagination and help them become more creative individuals. Learn how we started the Collective, see some of our toys, and learn how you could benefit from such a program at your library. Presenter: Lindsey Tomsu, Teen Coordinator, La Vista Public Library. Upcoming NCompass Live events:
  • Feb. 22 – Metadata Makeover: Transforming Omaha Public Library’s Digital Collections
  • March 8 – Planning for Successful Internships
  • March 15 – Build a Better World: Summer Reading Program 2017
