Technology in Libraries with Challenges

I noticed at the Big Talk from Small Libraries Conference many libraries with challenges where finding ways to offer technology to their patrons. Here are some titles that may inspire projects of your own. The supplement to American Libraries Jan/Feb 2012, v. 43, n.1/2, focuses on EBooks, entitled, EBooks Making New Connections. One of a series of DVDs from College of DuPage, Library futures: Staying Ahead of the Curve: Technology Trends in Libraries: Tools, Skills, Staffing and Training, offers various views on technology, the library, and the future. Other titles in the series can be searched for by using the series title, Library Futures: Staying Ahead of the Curve. Please email me at cathy.hatterman@nebraska.gov with any topics you’d like to see in a blog. As always,–please contact the Information Services Team if you’d like to check out any of these titles. Thanks.
