I read the book when my mother loaned it to me back in the 1970’s. I liked it so much that I found the book in the internet about 3 years ago and read it again and will treasure it.
Does anyone know if a movie has been made from this story? I think it would be wonderful to make a movie. It’s a great story about the early pioneers, even if it’s fictional.
