Be sure to use Internet Explorer for this meeting.
Go the OPAL website Meeting Rooms list.
Locate the Nebraska Library Commission Room and click on it.
Load and install any necessary plugins.
Sign in to the room with your full name (first and last).
Come a few minutes early if you want to test your microphone.

We’re looking at the week of April 23 through the 27th for statewide training activities. How does this fit into everyone’s schedules?
For anyone confused about what “pilot mentors” might be, I found info at http://www.nlc.state.ne.us/NowHiring/MentoringHowItWorks.asp Wonder if there are still openings or what? Well, there is a contact address at the bottom page.
Pilot mentors are an initial group of librarians across the state who volunteered to be mentors, and helped to develop mentoring tools, like the Web site and other materials still being developed.
We will need many more mentors, and anyone interested in mentoring training should register for one of the upcoming training sessions offered on OPAL. See the original posting for registration information.
